Universal Awakening

Today most of us are incessantly mentally, emotionally, and physically active. Often we reach impasses, sometimes several times in a day, and we really don't know what to do. Just as often we react rather than act at those moments. Over the past several millennia, the Sufis have developed "kashf", a guiding light of the mind and heart. This light can be trained upon oneself to open the most impossibly dark spaces within, to bring one into spaces of great understanding and affirmation of life.  This light of self revelation will be the core theme of the retreat with Himayat, for not only are the chains that bind us to be found within, but the very keys that will liberate us are found there as well.
